THANK YOU: As the 2023-2024 school year is coming to a close, we’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone who helped in any way with the Sherwood GROW Project. Your time and your prayers were much appreciated! Each week, 35 bags of food (70 bags for the upcoming final “summer” delivery) are packed and delivered to the school, where they are given to children for weekend meals. We are grateful to God for blessing this ministry in so many ways.

 JOINT WORSHIP next Sunday, May 26 (Memorial Day weekend) we will be worshiping at Our Saviour Lutheran Church (located on the corner of Weiss and Hemmeter) at 9:30am.

 BOOK STUDY Join Pastor Christina in a book study on “Love and Quasars” Thursdays from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. The study will run weekly until June 13th in person, or on Zoom.  Books are available thru the office for $13.32.

 WELCOME TEA All women are invited to a Welcome Tea, hosted by the ELCA Women of Sag. County (formerly the Women of OZ) on Monday, May 20th at 1:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Freeland. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for more information.

 CELEBRATION with sadness, Joyce Richardson will be retiring as of May 31st. We would like to send her off with a fellowship celebration following worship on Sunday, June 9th, to thank her for all of her hard work and memories made. Everyone is invited.

CONVERSATIONS IN CAREGIVING If you are, have been, or going to be a caregiver, come join in the discussion at 1:00pm, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at Our Saviour Lutheran (2525 Hemmeter Rd. Saginaw, MI. 48603).

BELL CHOIR will be meeting to practice at 7:00pm on Thursdays. If you are interested in joining or have any questions, please see Nathalie Dixon.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS, Carl & Betty Quackenbush from OSLC are hosting their annual Pig Roast Event on Sunday, August 11th at their farm. Everyone from Faith is invited to come and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and fun from 1:00pm until? (3:00pm roast pork buffet.) More information and a sign-up sheet will be posted in the hallway soon.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION: The Church Council believes it is important for the Congregation to know and understand the numbers of our monthly income and our monthly expenses.  The budgeted amount of income needed to meet monthly expenses is $19,209.
